15 DAYS MOROCCO TOUR FROM CASABLANCA

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat:

Upon your arrival at the airport in Casablanca, we commence our 15-day Morocco excursion with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque in Rabat. This magnificent structure is the largest of its kind outside of Mecca. We will then travel along the coast of Cornwall en route to the Moroccan capital, Rabat. You will begin your visit at the Hassan Tower, an incomplete mosque that was originally planned to be the largest structure in North Africa. Following that, you will stroll through the Kasbah Oudaya and settle into your hotel, situated in the center of the Medina. Keep the night at the hotel.

Day 2: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

Following a hotel brunch, we depart for Meknes, an additional imperial city in Morocco. known as the capital of the Ismailis of Morocco. You will tour the mausoleums of Moulay Ismail and Bab Mansour, one of the most magnificent gates in the world, both of which were constructed at the turn of the 18th century in Meknes. We will proceed to Volubilis, the well-preserved Roman ruins that date back to 25 BC, following lunch. Day 3: Fes – Fes

After breakfast, we will begin our exploration of Fes, the oldest city in Morocco. Investigate its confined alleyways and streets. Our excursion commences with an inspection of the entrance to the Royal Palace, the Jewish club, and the inaugural Mellah constructed in Morocco. In addition, we will ensure that we visit every location with artistic and historical significance, including the country’s earliest university, the Great Al Karaouine University, tanneries, and the Attarine Museum. You will return to your hotel following a visit to the renowned ceramics industry and a breathtaking panorama of the Medina of Fes following lunch.

Day 4: Fez – Ifran – Azrou Midelt:

Following an early breakfast at your hotel, we depart Fes and travel through the Saiss plains in the direction of the cedar forests of the middle Atlas mountain, passing by Ifrane, a city renowned for its distinctive adobe architecture and compared to Switzerland in Morocco. and gain access to the Berber culture as we traverse a number of mountain villages. Following that, we shall proceed to Midelt via the Tizi Ntalghamt pass and the magnificent Ziz Gorges, which have been fashioned from volcanic rock. A night spent in a guesthouse.

Day 5: Midelt to Errachidia to Merzouga:

Following breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. We will have a panoramic view of the high plateau Atlas as we travel through the Ziz defile, observing how the landscape transforms in proximity to the city of Errachidia to unveil hints. Day 6: Camel trek and Merzouga

After breakfast at the hotel, we independently travel to the Gnawa (black-skinned people), who were taken from Sudan as slaves, in order to experience their way of life and culture. Following that, we will travel through an arid region in search of nomad families to observe their way of life. We will share a traditional supper (pizza Berber) with a local family for lunch today. A camel excursion is scheduled for the afternoon, under the guidance of a knowledgeable camel guide. You will be led into the desert sea of Merzouga. Dinner is served in front of the Berber tent, and the night will be spent under the watchful eye of billions of stars (a shower and flash-toilets are provided for the camp).

Day 7: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges Merzouga:

Awaken early in the morning to witness the breathtaking and alluring arid sunrise. After an early morning ablution and an open-air breakfast at the periphery of the dunes, overlooking the desert, our 15-day tour of Morocco will proceed from Casablanca to Tinghir and the Todra Gorges, which are the tallest and narrowest in Morocco. Lunch in the middle of the Dades ravine, then a stroll through the canyon to see the “monkey fingers,” which are magnificent cliff formations and imposing sand structures. Day 8: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate:

We travel via Kelaa M’gouna Ouarzazate through the Dades Valley following breakfast at a hotel. We shall proceed our way through the Dades Canyon, which is known as the Passage of the Thousand Kasbahs and provides numerous opportunities for captivating photographs throughout your journey. Following this, we proceed to Skoura, where we will see the Kasbah Ameridil, an area-preserved kasbah. We then proceed to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa,” a destination that has enticed numerous world-class film producers due to its breathtaking scenery and topography. Subsequently, pay a visit to the film facilities, which house artifacts utilized in films such as Gladiator, The Last Temptation of Christ, and Mummy. There will be hotel accommodations.

Day 9: Ouarzazate to Taroudant: 

Our 15-day voyage of Morocco will commence in Casablanca and proceed in the direction of Taroudant via Taznakht, stopping en route to pay homage to the Taliouine collective of Safran. Day 11: Essaouira – Essaouira:

After breakfast in a riad, before starting our journey in the city,. We proceed to the fortress of Skala, which serves as the entrance to the marketplace. During our stroll through the streets of Medina, we will behold the intricately carved Thuya wood of the artisans. The reputation of “City Windy” in Essaouira attracts surfers from around the globe. Despite its many notable developments, such as the Portuguese occupation that significantly influenced its architecture, Essaouira continues to be a historically rich small town. It is also referred to as “the Moroccan Atlantic’s crown jewel” due to its proportions, blue entrances, and whitewashed walls. The excursion consists of a visit to the seashore and the Mellah, the Jewish headquarters. An annual “Gnawa music” festival is celebrated, attracting musicians from various parts of Africa and beyond. You will have lunch prepared in Moroccan style today. Day 12: Essaouira – Marrakech:

We depart early in the morning for Marrakech. Day 13: Visit Marrakech:
