4 DAYS TOUR FROM FES TO MARRAKECH

Day 1: Dedicate the whole day to touring Fes Medina with a local guide:

Today’s excursion will focus on exploring the spiritual aspects of Morocco with the guidance of a local expert. Meet your guide in the medina after breakfast to begin your tour, starting from the outside. seeing the stunning Medina vista from the Merenid tombs. After seeing the city’s main attractions, continue to explore the area by admiring its exquisite landmarks, such as the marble Nejjarine Fountain, and taking a tour of the Medieval Schools (Medersas), constructed in the 13th century. Observing the blue ceramics at the Bab Boujloud entry, the “Mellah” in the Jewish Quarter established in the 1400s, the Royal Palace Gate, and renowned mosques such as the Quaraouiyine Mosque, constructed in 859 by Fatima el Fihri, and the Andalusian Mosque, completed in 860. Afterwards, you will stroll through the winding lanes, adorned with Berber carpets and meticulously crafted Moroccan arts and crafts. The pottery cooperative, the large tanneries in Chouara, and the Medersa Seffarin are excellent locations to see traditional Moroccan craftsmanship. This is where exquisite metalwork and elaborately painted architectural wonders are created. Arrive at your riad to stay overnight.

Day 2: Travel from Fes to Ifrane, passing via Ziz Valley, and reach Erg Chebbi Dunes

We will send a car to get you from your accommodation in Fes for our 6-day excursion. We will pass across the Middle Atlas Mountains on our journey. We will begin our journey at the Atlas Lio Statue, constructed by a German prisoner in return for his release from the French. Next, we will visit Azrou’s Cedar Tree Forest to see the monkeys. We will traverse the Middle Atlas Mountains to reach Midelt for lunch. We will next go to the Sahara Desert and the Tizi N’Talghoumte Pass. Upon arrival at Merzouga in the late afternoon, you will begin your camel ride among the dunes to see the sunset. We will dine and stay overnight at a camp.

Day 3: Explore Merzouga (Erg Chebbi), Erfoud Fossils, Todra Gorges, and Dades Valley:

Begin the day with breakfast, then travel via Erfoud, known for its fossils, to reach Dade’s Valley. You will have sufficient time to examine the fossils. Next, you will visit Todra Gorges, a popular destination for hikers due to its large mountains. The Todra Gorges consist of both a canal and a river. You can feel the cold water flowing from the Todra Gorges behind towering mountains. After lunch in Todra Gorges, you will travel to Dades Valley. You have the option to stay overnight at a Berber camp or a hotel of your choosing.

Day 4: Dade’s Valley to Ait-Ben-Haddou to Ouarzazate and then to Marrakech:

Following breakfast, you will start your journey from Dade’s Valley to the renowned Old Kasbah of Ait-Ben-Haddou, the most recognized location in Morocco. During the journey, you will have the opportunity to visit Berber communities and capture memorable photographs. After you have finished exploring the Kasbah, we will transport you to the Atlas Studio in Ouarzazate. Many movies, including “Game of Thrones,” have been filmed here. Following that, you will take a break for lunch before proceeding to the Atlas Mountains and Marrakech. Afterwards, we will transport you to your Riad or hotel and wish you a safe journey on your next holiday.
