4 DAYS TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO FES VIA DESERT

Day 1: Marrakech – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley:

The 8:00 AM departure from Marrakech heads to the High Atlas Mountains. The serpentine trail takes travelers through verdant valleys and Berber towns to Morocco’s highest pass. Tizi N’Tichka is 2260 meters high.

We wish to take a break to drink coffee or mint tea and snap pictures. In the afternoon, you’ll visit Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that’s been filmed by worldwide filmmakers.

Ait Benhaddou, a crucial castle on the ancient Salt Road, facilitated commerce between Moroccan towns and distant areas. Gold, slaves, ivory, and salt were traded in caravans along this route.

From Marrakech to Fes, the 4-day trip covers Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa for its various film studios. As we go southeast toward Kasbahs, the geography changes to include Berber towns and urban centers, leading to the Dades Valley, where we will spend our first night.

Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorges – Arfod – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi):

Leaving the Dades Valley after breakfast, we travel across the Marrakech-Fes desert for three days. We reach the road to the Todra Gorge, near the Dades Valley. This gorge is a favorite among rock climbers worldwide.

Our company heads south into the Sahara desert after lunch. On the way, one will view a beautiful oasis, palm groves, scenery, old ruins and adobe kasbahs, and dinosaur fossils.

Due to its oceanic past, Erfoud is known for its fossils and sandy landscape. On the second evening, a guide and camel will be at the Erg Chebbi dunes to help you reach a desert camp amid the Moroccan Sahara’s golden dunes.

The starry sky will enchant the viewer. Before retiring to one’s tent, a delicious supper will be served to the soothing sounds of indigenous traditional music.

Day 3: Today Will Be Dedicated To Discovering The Desert And The Surroundings:

Today we’ll explore Erg Chebbi. Going to Khamlia. Village where Gnawa dances are performed.We’ll cross the hamada to the village, where we’ll camp with Berber nomad families and enjoy tea. More seawater fossils in parched rock may be uncovered by driving farther into the desert.

Return to your hotel. Ride a camel over the Erg-Chebbi dunes. A stunning sunset awaits. You may take photos and watch the sunset before traveling to the desert tent. After a fantastic lunch, local nomads will entertain you with Berber music beneath the stars. Overnight camping is planned.

Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani Market – Midelt – Cedar Forest – Ifrane – Fes:

Rise early to enjoy the desert morning. You’ll return to Merzouga by camel after breakfast. Our driver takes you to Fes. The tour begins in the Rissani market, where peasants sell vegetables, animals, traditional costumes, and cattle.
You may visit the local souk while here. Arfoud, noted for its fossilized marbles, is next. We’ll see cooperative fossils before heading to Ziz Valley for panoramic photos. Midelt will serve lunch on schedule.
Our next stop is Azrou, to shoot wild monkeys in the Cedarwoods. Continue to Fes via Ifrane. Our car takes you to your FES lodging.
